Old Town Streetscape Photo

Photographer’s Note

There are some very photogenic streetscapes, around the 'Old Town' District of Albuquerque, especially in the Autumn / Fall season. Albuquerque is 5,300 feet above sea level, (higher than Denver), hence the intense blue skies, accentuated by the polarizing filter.

Hello Chris,

Blue and yellow always seem to go nicely together. This is a nice building but what I find interesting is how the trees on the left have no leafs as compared to the one on the right. Nice colours and sharpness. Thanks Chris :-)

It is a beautiful colonial building which makes a nice street corner. Interesting to see some trees shedding the leaves much later in the season. It is a nice shot with great contrasting colours. Blue and yellow is a great combination.

Beautiful old town rustic charm, once again the golden yellow tree illuminated by the autumn sun is really attractive, super clarity and vivid color, good composition.

Hi Chris,
Very fine colours and particularly the tree to the right. I like the yellow green colour that looks more like a spring time picture, although I can see the photo was taken in autumn...

I like the great contrast of the yellow tree and the tree without leaves..The blue colour of the sky adds a lot of beauty in this scenery and gives light and life..

Old and new (house x cars), winter and spring (leafless and blossoming trees), excellent sharpness, good exposure, beautiful colors, a well chosen pov and a very good composition: attractive and quite nice photo outcome! I really like it!

The trees are framing well the building. The 3/4 view is allowing us to see the details en colors of the architecture of the commercial building. The blue sky is sending a light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
