Photographer’s Note
This was a cool passageway I found while I was at Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. The sheer number and size of the ruins amazed me, and I had a great time running around in them. This is an HDR image, so I didn't have to do too much editing apart from color correction and some curves. I hope you like it!

Hi Essie,
That's so funny, I took almost the exact same shot, just with different lighting!
If you want, check it out: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/North_America/United_States/West/New_Mexico/Chaco_Canyon/photo665000.htm
(I don't think it's possible to add a link in a critique or comment, sorry)
It's too bad that there are so few shots of Chaco here on TE (probably because it's not a place that's easy to photograph) so I'm happy about each new one. ;o)
Light management on this shot is perfect, I love how it gets brighter and kind of golden towards the center. Beautiful shot, thanks for sharing!
Best,
Claudia

You've captured some great colors and tones in this photo, but for me the best detail is the wet flat rock in the doorway threshold. Good composition too. Nice job.
