New Mexico's Museum of Art is located in the Santa Fe Plaza, a wonderful place full of history, shops, restaurants, and a central park for relaxation.
The Museum of Art was built in 1917, utilizing the architects Rapp and Rapp who had built the very successful New Mexico Pavilion for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park, San Diego.
The Museum has ongoing exhibitions continually changing, in part to stimulate tourism and also encourage artists to create and display.

ancora un soggett ricco di luce e di colore come il precedente.
Anche in quest il colore della costruzione si associa all'azzurro del cielo per disegnare una composizione assai gradevole.
Nitidezza e contrasto impeccabili.
Ciao e buona settimana

Hellow ray, neighbour on TE today,
Most impressive brown edifice, made from local stone, with its unique archi.-design and texture. Color contrast against the blue sky, and the shades upon from the near big tree "painted" the entrance wall.
Fine pic. with excelent tech. details.

Hello Ray, very interesting shot here. Very intriguing architecture. Good contrast of the building against the blue sky. I like the angle, you tried to show as much as possible of this fine building. Well done.

You are making me a big fan of this style of building, the soft lines and earthy colors are so pleasing to the eye, especially in comparison to the sharp lines and glass plates I have been seeing of late in my trip to Germany. A beautiful shot to show this buildings heart and soul. The blue sky is, as always a stunning site to my rain soaked eyes, while the shadows of the trees look a little scary, like something from a horror. But its hard to feel that effect under this light and color. Very nicely done.
Thanks as always

Bring back some happy memories when I used to live in Albuquerque and we used to visit this museum and other places of interest in Santa Fe and beyond. I think the adobe buildings in New Mexico are distinctive and unique. I like the use of the shadows to break up the surface. Well done, tfs.
