The Black Mesa is located near Los Alamos, New Mexico. It is a sacred place for the neighboring Pueblos San Juan and San Idelfonso.

wow. i can't say what it means to me to see this. I grew up in El Rancho (a small community off the highway, close to Jacona). I saw the Black Mesa and played around it everyday of my young life. Last time was there, i drove past by old school, in Pojoaque, and now it is a casino, "Cities of Gold."

Beautiful landscape and sky.Perhaps some lack of detail. I do not know if it was lost when reducing the photo for posting.
Would have been interesting to know they history why this place is sacred.
