Photographer’s Note

Another shot from the Red Rock Balloon Rally. They started the rally very early in the morning which allowed the opportunity for some great shots of the balloons against the morning sky.

Neat strong sillouettes. The balloons on the ground looked like strange hills in the thumbnail view. It's a unique viewpoint. The only nit might be that extra bright spot in the center. Nice scene, and theme. Looks like a wonderful place for photos. :o)

I like repeating shape of baloons. Sky gives a nice pattern.

I like the fact that although the balloons in the foreground are in sillouette, there is still a hint of colour there

nice contre-jour. i think i'd like better without the baloons, just one on the sky. still, it's good, maybe as a photojournalism pictorial, it expresses well the idea of many competing, with the leader ahead.
