Photographer’s Note

In march this year,2004, We had one of the Oil Rigs hit a gas pocket while drilling. This is as close as I could get with a 70-300 lens. Had to evac a mile in any direction for a week because of the winds and the gas. Tried to get closer but didnt want to go to jail.

Interesting scene, illustrating the title well. I do wish you could get closer, but I would have done the same as you did...
Did you try to just crop tighter and enhance?
