Roasting chili peppers in the open air, yummy.
This master roaster is working at the Albuquerque, New Mexico 'Railyard', where on weekends, hand made foods, arts & crafts are on sale. Located at the classical train station which still operates commuter trains.
My Grandfather had a small garden where he grew peppers and I learned to love them as a young boy. It is definitely "an acquired taste".
Albuquerque is also an excellent 'basecamp' for exploring New Mexico with numerous hotels and restaurants, and plenty of historical sites.

Excellent, colourful, f/g details grab our attention before we move deeper into the scene and discover the worker and his job. It's a good daily life scene informing me of an occupation that I never knew existed!
I wonder if he is an avid chilli eater or whether he can't stand the sight of them!!
My warm regards,

I am not a fan of RHCP, but I have only one idea when I see your photo. Clever composition, just a short story about the master. Is there so cold weather on October in New Mexico? He has very warm jacket for this South State. Or not?

An excellent informative and personal note to accompany the photo. The man's grill appears to be sitting on an Oriental carpet, somewhat incongruous for the occasion.

You chose a very well angle, you placed the man perfect on 1/3 of this vertical image.
The colours and presentation of the baskets with fruits is very well.
Lovely vertical photographed, perfect clear and sharp.
Very well done, TFS.

Hope this guy selling hot-peppers roasted, can bare the vapors of them and maybe even enjoy the smell, Ray.
Anyway, nice taken the photo, with the colorful red and green colors peppers, and the old roasting-machine he uses. Never saw this "technique", learnt new stuff on TE.
Have a nice sunday,

This is what I remember when I live Albuquerque the most, roasting chili. I still long for the real green chili burger, can't find it anywhere else. Good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Some of them look like chillies, some look like capsicums. Either way, I'm a fan. My Italian aunties cook these like demons..yum oh.
Love the daily life shot, the man roasting his produce in the great outdoors and can only imagine the amazing smell they must emit.
Nice work, you're making me hungry
