Photographer’s Note
Shown here is some of the colonial Spanish architecture of Albuquerque train Station, which now serves the Amtrak rail terminus. There's a connecting commuter bus outside, for scale. This New Mexico town is around 5,300 feet above sea level, (higher than Denver), so the polarizing filter has really accentuated the blue skies.

hi Chris
Since young, I had watched too many western and cowboy sunday matinee movies and learn about New Mexico.
It has always been fascinating to me seeing archictecture from New Mexico that has desert features and the name is really meaningful of its Spanish influence and ties to Mexico.
A fine post for TE.

Hello Chris,
I like the long diagonal perspective and the tonal contrast between polarised blue sky and the light beige tones of the buildings. The bus is well included here adding a feeling of dynamism and signifying a human presence in an otherwise deserted street.

Hi Chris,
The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition. The prsence of the bus has an effect of scale. The point of view is allowing us to see the deatils and colors of the colonial spanish architecture of the train station. The nice blue sky is enhancing the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

I've always wanted to see New Mexico, I've only reached the corner of it. Interesting architecture and nice lighting, colors, and detail. The bus is a bonus. TFS

Bonjour Chris,
une photo déserte, pas de vie, un calme inquiétant. Je ne suis pas fan de l'exposition, un peu forte ici, ce qui efface pas mal de détails au niveau de la façade.
Un cielm bleu magnifique.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Chris,
An almost deserted street which gives an atmosphere interesting and almost worrying to this urban landscape !!! Contrasts of lights and colors marked that I appreciate and which emphasize well the architecture of the building. Well done Chris.
With all my friendships and very good Sunday,

bonjour Chris
a suitable presentation for this pretty architecture and apart the bus, we can noticed the empty street.
I have done a ws, hoping you don't mind, to reduce a bit the strong light on the building ;)
Have a nice day

Hi Chris,
An unusual kind of architecture for a railway station but at least it is a fine building with very good colours. I admire the deep blue sky here!
Kind regards

Namaste Chris
Very different type of architecture. Good contrast you got with the polarised sky. Diagonal view provides depth. Well done!
