Photographer’s Note
"A trip on the world’s longest aerial tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles. See some of nature’s more dramatic beauty unfold before you. At sunset the desert skies produce a spectacular array of color, and your vantage point from the observation deck atop 10,378 foot Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest affords an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view of the Rio Grande Valley and the Land of Enchantment. Located on the eastern edge of Albuquerque in the Sandia Foothills at the end of Tramway Road."

Unfortunately for me, the cablecar was closed for maintenance, for several days. That was an expensive $35US taxi ride there & back, to the bus depot!
Albuquerque is over 5,300 feet above sealevel, & is very dry & arid. Average annual rainfall is only about 9.47 inches (237mm). So the fg vegetation is not exactly lush!

Hello Chris,
Interesting landscape, pity you didn't get to see it from above. The polarised blue sky makes a fine contrast with the desert scenery.

Bonjour Chris
Un cliché intéressant d'un paysage insolite et sauvage bien encadré avec l'arrondi de la route.
Merci pour le partage et bon week-end.

Olá Chris, the description of the tramway ride sounds very well. A pitty for you it was closed. This is a wonderful landscape with a marvellous polarized sky. The dirt road makes a nice framing in FG.

Bonjour, mon ami Chris,
De par le monde tu vas, de par le monde tu nous montres des lieux étonnants et magiques, depuis notre écran se dessinent des paysages exotiques.

Hi Chris,
The curve of the road is an asset to the composition. The point of view takes our eyes toward the top of the mountains. The strong blue sky is sending a light which fhas a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Chris,
I was in Albuquerque a few days ago for a business conference. Although I brought my camera, I was not able to take any photos. This is well composed and exposed, I do like the road curve on the f/g and the fantastic blue sky. Regards.

Bonjour Chris,
très belle région que le nouveau Mexique, aride certes mais avec des couleurs fantiastiques et des villes si différentes de tous les états qui entoure celui-ci.
De superbes couleurs dont ce ciel absolument fabuleux.
Amicalement.
Daniel.

Hello Chris
What a nice blue sky !
Don't use a taxi my friend ; you can use your feet, it's less expensive ;-)
Cheers
