Photographer’s Note
This is a detail, of a huge wall mural, protesting the proposed demolition of the old Albuquerque High School. The passive aggressive protest worked! The school was saved, & converted to upscale apartments. Surrounding, older buildings were revamped, & newer buildings added, were designed to blend in with the existing Spanish / Indian style architecture.

Hi Chris
Social mobilization often has an impact in the developers plans that only view profit as the only motive. As I said before I really like those naive murals.
Have a great week and TFS

Hello Chris,
You have caught the lighting perfectly on this wall mural, before I forget the name of this town in Washington state, Toppenish, also has wall murals throughout the city of the early history of the state and of the Indian Wars during the 1800's. Toppenish is supposed the Wall Mural Capital of the World, and it is a sight to see. there are tour guides on wagons through town that explain what the mural's signify.
A good capture here...

Salut Chris
The tight framing of the naive mural painting allowed to see nicely the details...the protestors supervised by the policeman and the train next to them...do you know who made this artwork?
Amitiés
Marilyn
