Photographer’s Note
Around April we have cactus blossom. Although we dont have this big ones as in Arizona the little guys seem to blossom extra colorfull.

Impressive capture. The picture is crisp and clean, and the colours of the blossoms go well with the blue sky. The type of landscape is something we don't see around here.

very beautiful composition, there is a beautiful contrast between the flowers and the sky. It is well done.

Excellent shot. I like the way you put a lot of blue sky into the photo to bring out the red blossoms -- great composition! Seems like a bit less shadow on the cactus would have helped (ie, if it were shot closer to midday), and it would have been gorgeous if the blooms were a little more open, but timing is always tough. I've taken a few shots around the Sandia foothills off Tramway that I should post, too. Keep up the good work!
