Brooklyn Bridge in Vegas Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another 'blue hour' shot in Las Vegas, this time featuring the replica of the Brooklyn Bridge, outside the 'New York New York' Hotel. Taken with a 28mm wide angled lens, on a busy sidewalk. I have gone with the / | \ pattern here, & let the verticals either side, fall where they will. The fluorescent light has given a green colour cast to the bridge walkway. I thought about removing it, by adding magenta, but rather liked the strong colour contrast, it provides, against the reds.

Hello Chris,
Good view along the bridge. I like the presence of the people on the right and the purplish tones in the sky. Exposure is well managed with good detail.

Hi Chris,

Did you use a tripod and a slow speed of exposure ? The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the replica of the Brooklyn bridge and of the buildings. The different types of lights have a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Well... a photo that it's impossible not to notice! (:-)
jokes apart the chromatic contrast is really so appealing and with all those lights and signs makes quite a scene! Perfect exposure and balanced composition, really good on many aspects.
