Photographer’s Note

Paris Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the famed Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, USA, that is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. As its name suggests, its theme is the city of Paris in France; it includes a 5/8ths scale, 540-foot-tall (164.6 m) replica of the Eiffel Tower, a neon sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon, a two-thirds size Arc de Triomphe and a replica of La Fontaine des Mers. The front facade of the building suggests the Paris Opera House and the Louvre.

An truly excellent night picture of Paris. Great colors, DOF and sharpness. Moreover you have a good eye to choose the right location in front of the screen with the kissing couple. Well done

I was here two weeks ago and i have a shot of the same subject but at a different viewpoint. I like your viewpoint here of pointing the lens straight at the screen and making it a little on the underexposed side so the light is all on the screen. A very good nigh shot.

Hello Christian,

Nothing can take the place of the original, so I guss this is only 5/8ths as good! But size aside, this is a great photo, very clear and well exposed. There is also the New York section of LV, with the smaller scale Empire State, Chrysler and Statue of Liberty which you would have seen. An incredible, tacky, but entertaining city that I hope to visit someday. TFS!
