VALLEY OF FIRE (III) !

On my way from HURRICANE/UTAH to LAS VEGAS/NEVADA, I had planned to stop by the VALLEY OF FIRE and it was totally worthwhile... not only my goal itself, but all the surroundings too! Here, the road that one can take while driving around the park!

Well folks, I'm back to law school... almost ten years ago I was taking a law course at the University but gave up for several reasons... no regrets... those years have been the most enjoyable in my life, including many, many wonderful trips and other stuff! But my job is demanding going back to my studies and I'm already less frequent around here, which will last for the next four or five years! I won't leave it for good though! Be seeing you all!!!!

I remember this view when Craig and I went there a few years ago. I have a very similar photo ha ha. This area is really beautiful! You have done justice to it. Love the long lines and curves. Great to include that wispy cloud too. Great work,

Nice to see you are able to take a break from your studies from time to time. This is a a beautifully presented road shot with superb colours and clarity. The slightly curving road disappearing up the hill gives the image great depth. Excellent rendering of the tones and textures in those rocks.

hi neyvan,
this is a real road trip picture of the highway. the colours are fantastic, very well saturated and appealing. the landscape either side is full of interest while the blue sky contrasts very nicely. the road leading over the hill raises thoughts of what adventures lie beyond.

Incredibile la perfezione del manto stradale. Sembra come un tappeto.

Hello Neyvan,
I would say that the colors are rather oversaturated. On the other hand this seems to be the point in this case. The rather unnatural colors give the photo an impact of a surrealistic painting. The composition is great. I love the strong black, white and yellow road and the cute little lonely cloud.

The richness in the colours here is wonderful. The lines of the road edges and the downward slope of the terrain on either side draw us into the journey

ótimo take. Gosto do céu polarizado e o "tapete" de asfalto entre esse relevo característico. Bonitas cores e nitidez. NY foi minha primeira viagem para o exterior e até o momento foi a melhor que fiz até hoje e já planejo retornar lá em breve.

saturated the colours of the image,especially the blue of the sky with the road to creates depth and perspective in the image.I like the reddish rocks on the sides as the view of this section of the 'Valley of fire'.

This simple shot is about perspective and tremendous depth you achieve here in strong contrasting colors but very pleasing results and makes this image stands out so superbly. The composition is well thought-out with strong diagonals, ndeed a peaceful looking country road. Great shot. TFS

Lovely sinewy lines of the man made road and its markings, providing an counterpoint to glories of the natural works surrounding it.

Simple yet strong. A great picture.

But the graininess ? Cropped form a bigger image ?

Anyway, the effect is very pleasing.

( Looks like the scene from the Kristofferson/Streisand movie 'A star is Born' where he kills himself in his red Ferrari on just such a road. )

so simple yet stunning composition. I like the motif of the road surrounded by the red colored rocks. Red goes so well with the blue sky. The white cloud is a nice final touch.

A very good picture where the road leads us into the barren landscapel. The dark colours of the road contrasts very well with the red/brown colours of the surrounding landscape. The lonely cloud is a nice addition. Reminds me of my own picture, "Desert view" Great work, and good luck with your studies:) TFS. Have a nice week.
