Photographer’s Note

Refer to my comments on Mt.Rainier. We missed our flight in Washington D.C and then flew to Las Vegas and took a southWest airlines to Reno and to Tacoma, Washington. While we were on the air, to keep myself away from frustration, I was looking down to the ground and took several pictures. This one I liked to share. while we fly over these landscapes, we will hit contrastic terrain. From Desert to high volcanic mountains capped with Ice and glaciers to Large water collection (Crater Lake...) to Rain forests until we landed in Tacoma. Its a feast to our eyes.

America has such an interesting sights. I like arzona very much, but Nevada is also like some other planet.

it's good location... the colors are profiling the projection of the hills perfectly... (but the photo should be more clear)

Love this shot, Rajesh ... it's very difficult to take shots from 31k above because of window glare. But that glare worked to your advantage ... and acted like a graduated filter ... from the blue in the far background gradually moving to the browns in the foreground. Quite beautiful effect. The shadows also are beautiful and enhance the sharpness of the mountain ridges that you've captured. Keep on photographing from above!

What a beautiful view! I love this kind of photo from a plane. When I'm on a flight I never sleep like most of the passenger... I'm always looking at the ground which fascinated me :-) Thx for this beauty
