This Boeing 747SP (VQ-BMS) is own by the Las Vegas Sands Corp. an American casino and resort based in Las Vegas which owns The Venetian and The Palazzo as well as the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The corporation also owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and The Venetian Macao in Macao, China. And it is for the use by the company’s biggest gamblers, I think for free.

A mini-Jumbo we used to call this plane, Eleu.
The only one that was landing here in Isreal belonged to SAA (south-African Airways), back in the late 70th.
Impressive small / big plane, its colors mingle beautifully with the blue sky, and collected wonderful pic. with sharp details.

This is a nice capture of this airplane in flight. The fast shutter speed gave you a sharp image. The lighting is great as is the color.

Now that's talking about big bucks!
Design of 747SP is quite special and as such it deserves to be called a classic, though it wasn't a commercial success. Very nice to see it flying and those colours look good too.
