The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is located in Downtown Las Vegas's 61-acre Symphony Park and is a five-acre, world-class performing arts center consisting of three theaters in two buildings;(1) groundbreaking for the $470 million project was May 26, 2009. The Art Deco design style was chosen to echo the design elements of another architectural tour de force in Nevada, the Hoover Dam, just 30 miles to the southeast. The center features a 17-story carillon tower containing 47 bells and is the first performing arts center in the nation to be Gold LEED certified. It opened on March 10, 2012. (From Wikipedia)

nice photography in blue hour. Like your composition with the half-moon on top of the building. Light is managed well within limitation. I like this frame a lot. Tfs.

An excellent demonstration, Eleu, of photography at dusk. Some of us (and I am not very good at this) have an innate sense for when the light sources are all close-enough in balance -- here, the ambient skylight, the strings of electric lights, the streetlights, and (even!) the moon!
You mention the Hoover Dam. I haven't looked at all of your fotos posted here, but let me just be lazy and ask: Have you shot out there and have you posted any of your shots here? I've been there and it is a daunting subject -- most impressive in size and style!

Art Deco comes to Las Vegas - 100 years late but better late than never. This is a good shot anyway with fine details of the architecture seen clearly even in the relative darkness of the blue hour. The many lights give the picture a good atmosphere and the trees frame the view nicely.

Nice to see & very nice to read your interesting notes - Having a performing Arts Centre in Las Vegas makes a lot of sense - especially with the amount of wonderful cabaret acts that could be scouting around for new talent - it is on their doorstep.
Impressive photo & the capture of the half moon is great.
