Photographer's Note

The Las Vegas Strip is an approximately 4.2-mile (6.8 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada. Unknown to many travelers outside of Nevada, The Strip is not located within the City of Las Vegas but it passes through the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester, which are south of the Las Vegas city limits. Most of the Strip has been designated an All-American Road, and has a unique distinction of being a scenic route during nighttime. Many of the largest hotel, casino and resort properties in the world are located on the Las Vegas Strip. Fifteen of the world's 25 largest hotels by room count are on the Strip, with a total of over 62,000 rooms. (From Wikipedia)

Hello Eleu,
In broad daylight this would probably not be a very attractive view, I imagine. But the evening light has produced such marvellous colours that I gladly overlook that this is just an ordinary big hotel. The orange and green tones are terrific and well captured.

Hello Eleu,

There is a good contrast of light and shadow here under this sunset sky. The clouds in the sky have nice color tones. The reflection of the sun on the hotel is quite interesting and suggest everything in Vegas is made of gold, but is it so ?

Good perspective and the benefit of a golden light hour with cracking colours catching on the buidlings. It's the random splashes of reddish cloud singing out against the dark blue sky make this shot really standout. I think you grabbed the moment so precisely there. Great atmospheric shot. TFS
