Thunderbirds Grounded By Politicians, a photo from Nevada, West

Photographer's Note

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds practiced yesterday (Friday) at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, their home base, before being grounded and may not perform in any future air show because the politicians in Washington D.C. are unable to resolve the Sequestration that they imposed on themselves. Not very smart…those politicians.

Hello Eleu,

Historic flight you may have caught here. The image lacks a bit of sharpness but who's to complain, politicians having no sharpness at all. I have seen his team a few years back in Quebec.

So the americans groundet their air show squadron to? Over here in Switzerland our defense minister wants to ground the Patruille Suisse as well because of the maintenance costs, just weird as they are considered as one of the best.
