Photographer's Note

The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter designed by McDonnell Douglas to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat. It is considered among the most successful modern fighters, with over 100 aerial combat victories with no losses in dogfights. Following reviews of proposals, the United States Air Force selected McDonnell Douglas' design in 1967 to meet the service's need for a dedicated air superiority fighter. The Eagle first flew in July 1972, and entered service in 1976.

Hello Eleu,
The juxtaposition of the planes with each other and the moon gives a composition with real impact. I enjoy the expanse of pure blue sky and the sharpness of the image.

frankly, i prefer antique vehicles, motorcycles and cars but i must admit that i am impressed of the power from these F15. Awesome formation and i like the fact that you have included the moon within the frame. Crisp and clear shot and a good note, Tfs!

I like the diagonal line made by the aircrafts. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

I don't know or Belgium got F15 planes, I don't not.
I know one of the best fighters in the world, but this remain continued killing machines, or peacekeepers!
I can enjoy of these nice picture, splendid colors and excellent sharpness.

I like a lot the composition putting along a diagonale line the 3 planes with the Moon in a full clean blue sky. It is attracting the eye and making the interest of the shot.
