Photographer's Note

The Forum Shops is a luxury shopping mall in Caesars Palace (Roman Empire themed Hotel and Casino). It includes more than 150 shops and several restaurants. There is a 4,000-seat Colosseum, a replica of the original building in Rome that is home to pop diva Céline Dion. Also, replicate an ancient Roman streetscape, with classical piazzas and opulent fountains.

I am normally not big fan of the pictures of interiors but this one is truly outstanding. The perspective, depth and composition in general are just right. Everything seems to have been planned and thought through. Splendid colors and contrast, ideal sharpness.

If I hadn't read your note, I could be thinking the picture was taken inside a museum. Your picture shows off well the evident sense of excessiveness in Las Vegas, in this temple of temptation where the flood of dollars provides all the pleasures that anyone can hope to enjoy. The inside light is perfectly captured, and I appreciate the unique perspective and the nice depth of field that lets us see lots of detail. Great work !

as a huge fan of Vegas, I know these Forum shops well :)

do you have a photo of the spiral staircase from the bottom looking up? thats a popular one too :)

lots of detail, with good symmetry, and well lit considering the low indoor light.
