It's A New Year!, a photo from Nevada, West

Photographer's Note

Las Vegas claimed to have the biggest New Year’s Eve party and I think they did. The city is expecting 300,000 tourists to come to welcome the new year in Las Vegas. A major portion of the fame Las Vegas Strip was closed to automobile traffic most of the night and it was wall-to-wall with people. There are over 150,000 hotel rooms in the city and almost 100% booked. But I stayed home for New Year’s Eve because I don’t want to be one of the statistics--too many drunk drivers on the road. And I want to continue taking pictures and post to them for all my friends to enjoy.

That's a big bang there Eleu! Fireworks to mark a new year, This is great ideas and what a combination of colors in deep night sky a happy image and what's more important is that all are in good mood to mark the beginning of new day. This is great vibrant shot, Well done.

Instead of a color organ connected to huge speakers, Spielberg should have used this giant flower pot spitting fire as marker for the UFO landing site!
