The Hotel is a 43-story 1,117 luxury suite hotel owned and operated by MGM Resorts International. It is located in Paradise, Nevada on the Las Vegas Strip within the Mandalay Bay complex. It is planned to be renovated and rebranded as the Delano Las Vegas in 2013, under a partnership between MGM and Morgans Hotel Group. Historically all rooms in The Hotel were suites of at least 750 sq ft (70 m2). The suites are composed of two rooms. Floors 39-41 (marked 60-62 in elevators) house Penthouses, which range from 1,500 to 2,500 sq ft (140 to 230 m2). There is also a single Presidential Suite, named "HP", that is over 4,500 sq ft (420 m2). There are also "deluxe" suites which are available to guests. While similar in style to traditional hotel rooms (single room), they are located on the Penthouse level and feature upgraded sheets, bath products and other amenities not found in the standard suites below. THEhotel is home to a Michelin-starred restaurant called "MiX" at the top of the hotel. It is an Alain Ducasse restaurant famous for its French and American dishes as well as a spectacular view of most of the Las Vegas Strip. (From Wikipedia)

Great shot of this hotel with the setting sun. I like the graphism of the walls. The colored clouds in the sky are nice to sea.

Oh yes, i have this exact same photograph in my own personal gallery :)
I remember how the sunlight strikes the glass windows to create this wild gold color.
the hint of blue gives a nice elegant contrast too.

Spot on Elue, right time and place to catch the golden glow and the brilliant colors in the sky to complement the shot. The hotel building simply pop out drawing the eyes in with impeccable sharpness, so eyecatching and carries a lot of weight into this shot.
