I showed yesterday how a California desert look from afar. Today I am showing a closer look at at a desert terrain when you drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. You see only views like this on both sides of the freeway, dried wild grass, green weeds and sand.

It's amazing how plants will still grow in such arid conditions. Your POV here shows the detail in the foreground as you intended and beyond we see the rocks with good contrast.
