Glacier National Park is located in the U.S. state of Montana, bordering the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Glacier National Park contains two mountain ranges, sometimes referred to as the southern extension of the Canadian Rockies mountain ranges, with over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals. This vast pristine ecosystem, spread across 1,584 mi˛ (4,101 km˛), is the centerpiece of what has been referred to as the "Crown of the Continent Ecosystem", a region of protected land encompassing 16,000 mi˛ (44,000 km˛). The famed Going-to-the-Sun Road, a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, traverses through the heart of the park and crosses the Continental Divide, allowing visitors breathtaking views of the rugged Lewis and Livingston mountain ranges, as well as dense forests, alpine tundra, waterfalls and two large lakes. Along with the Going-to-the-Sun Road, five historic hotels and chalets are listed as National Historic Landmarks, and a total of 350 locations are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hello Henryk,
The lone bicyclist is treated to a magnificent view as he reaches the crest of the scenic highway. The lush green lower mountains contrast beautifully with the higher snow capped peaks which are topped of the splendid blue sky and intricate cloud patterns. Outstanding mountain landscape.
Regards, Tom

Hello Henryk,

Woops, I almost thought that NP meant 'no points'. Ha-ha! Well I think this image is deserving of many. Absolutely sensational, and impressive to me as a cyclist/hiker/photographer! It is a stunning portrayal of beautiful greenery, and attractive cloud patterns, which are rather unusual. The inclusion of the cyclist really does add to the perception of depth and increases the impact of the FG. Supreme clarity, sharpness and colours. No faults here!

Matt

Hello Henryk. A very interesting photo. The impressing landscape works as on one big screen. Outstanding composes. The cyclist in the foreground is ideally placed. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Henryk,
I will go there next year on vacation and looking to these pictures with great interest. You are showing here a fantastic landscape with snow covered mountains in a really wonderful landscape. Great idea to use the cyclist in the frame, even he seems to be impressed by this wondewr of nature.
Great shot...looking forward standing there myself...
Regards, Henk

Hello Henryk,
What a great panoramic shot, with that cyclist placed so magnificently in the corner, adding colour, sense of scale, and viewpoint. The clouds' shadows on the landscape look superb. Great cropping in this one too. Just a superb landscape with good notes.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Henryku,
since a long time no see your gallery. Hope that everything is OK with you. The fantastic landscape is perfectly captured here and what I like a lot is the texture of the clouds and the play of lights and shadows on the ground. The inclusion of the cyclist adds life and scale.
I wish you and your family a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
Attila

I really like how this picture portrays a sense of space.
