Photographer’s Note
Montana is one of the prettiest states I've visited, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of representation on TE. I was only there for a day, but I'll do what I can to represent it.
Mt. Gould towering over Swiftcurrent Lake. Mt. Gould isn't the highest mountain in Glacier, but I think it's one of the most dramatic, and it's certainly one of the most glacier-carved. In fact, three of the remaining 30 or so glaciers in Glacier National Park are found on its slopes.

Nice vista Clark. I miss something in the foreground for some scale and depth ;) but the photo is amazing. The exposure is good and the colors vibrant and natural. Nothing much more to say here. Just breathe and relax...

hello Clark,
very striking indeed. I must admit this is a landscape I would love to go and photograph. Very well taken.

Hi Clark,
Nice use of the grad filter on this one - I can see very well the benefit in a situation like this. Three months ago I would never have noticed or even cared much. It's a nice shot, too, with a wonderful mountain vista. Looks like it was windy!
Most of what we saw of Montana was from the train, it was basically flat farmland, never made it to Glacier as we got off in Shelby. Hope to someday visit Glacier.
Have a good one!
