Photographer’s Note
This image gives a little idea how life can be during a ground blizzard in NE Montana. A short distance in front of me is a large Tractor, but about all that can be made out is a shadow through the blowing snow, ice and dust at this point. It's kind of amazing to me just how much snow and other matter can be picked up and blown about during these times.
I might mention that road conditions as you can imagine were treacherous to say the least. I also almost lost my hat taking this picture. It blew off of my head and left me chasing it through crusted and rotten snow up past my knees. It was not a day to be roaming around, but how can one resist the opprotunity that accompanies such days.

La visibilité est difficile, les conditions climatiques sont dures malgré le soleil.
La composition est parfaite, j'ai fait un petit travail en WS.
The visibility is difficult, the climatic conditions are hard in spite of the sun. The composition is perfect, I did a small work in WS.

Dear Ned, very nice compositions with those 2 trees :) It looks like you are in an ice storm. Hope the cam was not in danger. One could think the clouds are part of the snow. Very well done. Yours, Jan

Very nicely photographed. Great colors. The snow is very active in this photo. Really creates a feeling of wind blowing. Especially against the blue sky. Very nicely photographed in such conditions.
