Photographer’s Note
Two snowboarders sit back, relax and and take in the view on the chairlift at Big Mountain, Whitefish, Montana.
We were lucky to ski above the cloud on this day which was cool. The temperature inversion means that the cool cloud is stuck in the valley, trapped by the warmer air above it. This means that those higher up the mountain enjoy the sunshine, warmth (and spectacular views), and those lower down are stuck in a freezing cold cloud in low visibility all day. Skiing down into the cloud at speed is rather exhilarating(!).

Beau paysage!
Magnifique mer de nuages!
J'aime aussi beaucoup les ombres des gens sur le télé-ski!
Beau travail!

Great graphic silhouettes. The clouds in the background make the image even more interesting – it´s like a chairlift to heaven...
I would crop the image tighter to make it even simplier, strangier and more graphic – posted a WS...
Well seen and captured in any case.

On a vraiment l'impression que ces gens vont "traverser" cette barrière de nuages. Une très jolie image, bien nette et colorée.
