Photographer's Note

Glacier National Park has Jammers, red tour busses built in 1936-39, by the White Motor Company in Cleveland, Ohio. They are 25 feet long and have a 17 passenger capacity, and the roof is convertible. The 33 bus fleet has been restored.

They were called "Jammers" because they originally had shift transmissions, and the drivers could be heard "jammin" the gears up and down the Park's mountain roads.

In this view is a tunnel constructed with natural rocks for the Going to the Sun Road.
