Photographer's Note

Glacier National Park's 50 mile long "Going to the Sun Road" is one of Earth's most spectacular drives, winding through the Rocky Mountains often along cliff sides. It received its name from Blackfeet native American legend about a sun deity who came from the sun to teach them how to hunt, and when he left they named a mountain Going to the Sun.
