[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After seeing Don's (vesalius) workshop, I decided that I should take another wack at this photo. So I've cropped and increased saturation levels similar to his rendition. I think he's right, more color is better.
-------------------------------------------------

I am told that this is called "the old Duck Creek School". Another of the old school houses to be found in the area. I probably learned less about this school than the rest, but hoping that perhaps I'll learn more in the future.

I was able to obtain a picture of the interior of the one room school I may post later. I was surprised to see a stage at one end of the room. I'm guessing that perhaps the stage served two purposes. 1st as a platform for the teacher and 2nd as a stage for school pagents, plays and other activities.

NOTE: I've listed this as being in Circle, though it is a number of miles outside of town. Like the others, there may have been a town here too. I'll be investigating that too.

really nice foto. i like the way there are just 3-4 clear colors.

i made a BW version could i post this to the workshop? it reminds me of the ghost town series on pbase ...

I like the sharp simplicity of this one, and I like the improved cropping of the one side of the background as well. Shows the barren landscape without taking the focus off of the old school

This is one of my favourite pics actually (Ned, you had been added to my fav member list (^-^)/ ). The house seems so isolated from the entire world, it conjures up a 'loneliness' kind of feel in my mind. However, Ned, I would wait a little bit longer for more white clouds to come along because I think it will create better effect to the picture.
