While from a distance, many of the old buildings in Bannack look to be a fairly good condition. Looking closer, one can see that they have suffered a great deal over the years. In some cases exteriors have been repaired in an effort to perserve the building. In this case either the building doesn't rank enough to receive repairs, or it has been conciously left as is to demonstrate it's age.
In taking this picture, I was taken by the patterns and wrestled with natural colors or BW, finally deciding that the BW better conveyed the age. |

Windows is a very interesting photo object, at least for me:-). I love this excellent composition and I think B&W fits perfectly here! The reflection on the glass and the texture of wood are great too!

Nice graphic elemnts in this shot Ned. Good exposure of natural light an dthe reflection completes the scene.
Nice texture where the contrast is important.
Good in BW.
