[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I call this one "Pitchfork to Heaven." The photo was taken on the summit of Two Top in Idaho, an ungroomed snowmobile trail. The "pitchfork" was once a prominent wind-blown pine. The wind on Two Top really howls and the slanted angle of the once prominent pine makes it obvious. Two Top is located in between Island Park, Idaho and West Yellowstone, Montana. I added a touch of contrast to produce this image.

Hi Chad, I was intrigued by the thumbnail and couldn't resist the temptation to open it up. Thankfully the notes explain it all. The stunning blue sky provides the perfect backdrop to this sad remnant of a pine tree. Testament to the ferocious winds.
