[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last night, we had heavy rain and a full moon. As I returned from shopping and turned into our driveway, this wonderful scene presented itself to me. I immediately took a couple of shots by bracing the camera against the car. The results weren't bad, but next I had time to get the tripod, which I carried in the back of the car, and set it up and took better shots. This was the last one and probably the best of the series. Nikon D200, Tamron 28-300mm f/6.3. The photo was completely unedited except for cropping and resizing.

The title of the photo was set to be the same as that of one of the songs I'm learning now in my singing lessons. Seems appropriate! The poem is by Rückert and the well-known song was by Schubert.

Hallo!
A wonderful mysterious photo with an astonishing depth. The build-up is very good. I like this picture and I like it's title!
Greetings from Germany, where your songs come from!
Frank

Tu as su créer un univers unique. On a pas l'habitude de ce genre de photo... Bravo pour l'originalité ! J'aime beaucoup la simplicité de ta prise, où l'on ne voit que ce que tu veux bien nous montrer. Franchement, j'adore!

Beautiful low-key mood in this photo, Vitit. The moon in the cloudy sky behind the treetop silhouette indeed evokes a sort of poetic feel, and I also like the very subtle presence of color in this one.

I was drawn to your photo by the mix of German title (I'm German) and Idaho location (one of my favorite places in the U.S.), and I'm glad I found it ;)
