Photographer’s Note
Northern Idaho is a wonderful spot for outdoor recreation. One of the most popular is boating on the many lakes. Here is a canoe I caught in the morning light and quiet along the city beach in Sandpoint, Idaho.
PP: Just a minor crop, sharpen, resize, and frame.

nice exposure and detail but the boat is too centered to make the comp. work as well as it could. had the boat been placed at the bottom right of the screen with the camera pointed down towards it then it could have been used to lead the eye through the lake and onto the mountains in the background.

Dear Mike,
You got there a very nice shot!
POV is very well chosen. Colors and clearness are also quite good!

Nice capture Mike. Set it off center using the rules of threes to make it more interesting.
Best regards,
Rob

Hi Mike,
What a beautiful capture. Splendid colours in the lateral morning light. The place seems so serene and calm.

Hi Mike!
Nice one! This one should fly high! I like the diagonals formed by the shadow andvby the buoys on the right. Top left is a bit overexposed though (I think). I like how you kept the shadow in the frame of the picture. Did you try one where the boat is less centered?
Very well done!
Marc
