Photographer’s Note

Seeing a recent Cézanne exhibit in his city of Aix-en-Provence I learned that he just kept painting and painting the same Montagne Ste.-Victoire, each time different from the other. Likewise I love to photograph Pocatello's Camelback Mountain. Each time it never looks the same as before. By the way, I passed by la Montagne Ste.-Victoire a couple of times, and it looked like nothing worth recording. You have to be lucky to be there when the light is right. Likewise most people would dismiss our Camelback Mountain as less than scenic, but in the right condition it looks great!
