Hello Jake -
This is a nice image but to me it is a bit on the soft side. I notice that you used an f/4 for this shot and that is more than likely causing the softness. Also, there is not a tripod listed in the photo info which could also be the source of the problem. When shooting landscapes a deep DOF is generally wanted so that everything front to back is in focus. To obtain that deep DOF requires longer shutter speeds so a tripod is necessary to hold the camera still. Also, some sort of FG element and/or a leading line would help to hold interest and focus attention. This a moody image so there must be a bit more than mood to hold the viewers attention.
From your portfolio I see some very nice images that should have gotten more attention. One thing that is consistent with the images is that the notes a kind of minimal without giving any information. Look at the images that get lots of attention and besides being technically well composed and executed they have detailed notes. Tell us something about this area, why you made this image, what is significant about the area, etc.
Keep shooting and don't get discouraged - your images show promise. Thank you for sharing.
