Une vue d'une partie du Canyon Waimea, il est aussi nommé le Grand Canyon du Pacifique. La photo a été prise d'un des point d'observation le long du canyon lors d'une visite organisée d'une journée de Kauai. Un négatif endommagé Kodak 5025 qui a été numérisé avec un Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV.

A view of an area of the Waimea Canyon, it is also name the Pacific Grand Canyon. The photo was taken from one of the lookout point of the Canyon during a one day sightseeing tour of Kauai. A damaged Kodak 5025 negative which was scanned with a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV.

Hello Pierre,
This is a rugged and wild landscape if any..!
I suppose it is a road up there unless you were sightseeing by helicopter...
The angle of light adds life to the landscape, and the image has a fine feeling of depth!

This is a good shot of the canyon, showing just how rugged it is. Those hills and cliffs are surprisingly dramatic, and it really does remind me of the Grand Canyon of Arizona. Well done!

Bonjour Pierre,
Je découvre ces Canyons verdoyants, contrairement a ceux que j'ai visité au Colorado, ici la végétation a l'air de recouvrir la roche en lui donnant un aspect duveteux, moelleux.

Splendid mountain landscape, lovely panorama view, you play excellent with light and shadows Pierre, this gives a nice composition.
Very nice relief but very difficult for entry in this mountain range.
