Photographer’s Note
Watching another incredible Maui sunset on a beach just outside of the town of Lahaina. There were a few kids still playing in the surf, trying to get the most out of what little daylight was left. You can see the silhouettes of their heads just past the water line on the beach. I liked how the rocks along the shore point you out toward the sunset and I like the curves of the waves as they wash in and back out again.
I adjusted the contrast and saturation in Photoshop CS during post work and darkened up the shadows and highlights just slightly.
