I made a major change to this picture: I changed the color of the background wall in the right upper corner to a yellowish hue, so it stops clashing with everything else. (I believe if one day the Buddha on the altar starts talking, his first edict will be "paint these dang walls yellow already.")

The temple complex itself is one of the historical landmarks of Honolulu. The main building is lavishly illustrated with paintings about Buddha's life.
