Honolulu Harbor, also called Kulolia, is the principal seaport of Honolulu. Honolulu Harbor handles over 11 million tons of cargo annually. Its services are crucial as Hawaiʻi imports over eighty percent of its required goods.
Archaeological surveys show that the area around Honolulu Harbor was bustling with human activity prior to 1100. Honolulu Harbor was entered by the first foreigner, Captain William Brown of the English ship Butterworth, in 1794. He named the harbor Fair Haven, which is synonymous with the Hawaiian name Honolulu. Other foreign captains then referred to it as Brown's Harbor. The name Honolulu (with numerous variations in spelling) soon came into use.
Honolulu became the most important shipping point in Hawaii. It flourished with the sandalwood export and then as a supply port for whalers. Sugar, pineapples, light manufacturing, tourism and defense installations followed as economic mainstays and the last two remain so to this day.
Aloha Kulesinden Kulolia

You show us another unusual view of Hawaii. ;) I like this predominant blue color of the composition. Here is more nature than industry, I think. The note is very informative, I did not know about this side of life in Honolulu.

You're capturing well this harbor by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the this port with many wharfs, ships and cranes. It is the another face of tourist destination of Hawaii. It's also impressive in crystal bay and blue sky with random clouds. And, the mountain in the distance draws out a good atmosphere.

the water looks delightful!
Although it´s not typical postcard view from Hawaii,I like your creativity and orginality of the image.
And finally I´m a fan of industrial photos,so this one appeals to me much!

a very interesting bird's eye view of this large and neat harbour. The sense of depth is very strong and the vast facilities are well placed in the frame leaving a lot of space to the marvelous blue sea and the delightful sky. The view is very clear and promises a lot of intriguing areas and details, innumerable opportunities for photos:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

This is a lovely, interesting and effective presentation of this characteristic harbour scenery with a glimpse of daily harbour working life in it. Your composition is well balanced and elegant, the perspective and the ships and harbour cranes fill the frame and delight the viewer. Clarity is superb, nice blue tones against a , white sky clouds backdrop is a very appealing combination. Very well done. Wish you a nice weekend.

Lovely scenic view of the harbor.
I like the way you have given enough space to the beautiful sea, which has an amazing color here. Dramatic cloud formations and the hills in the BG complete your picture. Superbly lit, soothing blue tone and excellent sharpness makes this photo great.

Fine panorama of Kulolia Harbor, detailing the shipping operations, good detail and in the distance another island.
A reminder that not all of the Hawaiian islands are palm trees and beaches.
