Today, we have turned our gaze a few degrees to the right from yesterday's photo and are looking at Waikiki, which gets its name from springs and streams that fed wetlands that once separated it from the interior. Waikīkī means spouting fresh water in Hawaiian. This area was a retreat for Hawaiian royalty in the 1800s who enjoyed surfing there on early forms of longboards. Waikiki was introduced to the world when its first hotel, the Moana Surfrider, was built on its shores in 1901. Today, Waikiki is Oahus main hotel and resort area and a vibrant gathering place for visitors from around the world.

Very nice shot of the modern urban landscape. The shining white skyscrapers make good contrast with the sea in the BG. I like the way you have framed the photo in the FG. Great shot and thanks for sharing.

A good crop horizontally, Murat, and an excelent clear shot over town, every building looks sharp and almost a 3D picture.
Nice taken wide scenery over the city, shining even under only partly cloudy sky's.
Have a nice Sunday,

I like your cityscape view photos. This one is excellently framed in panoramic format. The city buildings are in excellent light & clarity. You have included three superb layers in the composition, the dark green trees layer, the middle layer with bright buildings and the top (BG) blue water-sky layer. Very well done.
P.s. You have mentioned that you like airplane photos. I've posted some airplane photos on my homepage (the latest photos are still not included):

Quite a view over Honolulu here. One never think of Hawaii as an urban area but here we have the prove of it, just like any big american city anywhere, just a tad warmer and sunnier maybe. Great panoramic shot with pleasing colors and a good front to back sharpness. The little airplane taking of just complets the composition nicely.
have a great week

a very effective layered description in a panoramic frame. You have given superb depth and clarity to this immense urban scape and have framed it excellently by the greenery in the foreground and the seascape in the distance. The light has a very fine quality and helps the homogeneous characteristics of the buildings stand out, you've achieved an almost 3D effect. The colours are delightful. I can't even imagine what this place looked like only a century ago. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

This landscape reminds me your last series "Atakule'den Ankara". Not the same but it is common idea to show the city from a hill, from distance. Impressive landscape, I thought this is not busy island. Good presentation of the another side of Hawaii.

nice view of this beautiful barrier of buildings in front the sea. nice horizontal shape of the framing.
I am something sad because my previous post was removed, something that make me to think to abandon this site like many other did before.
