View from Lower Diamond Head Photo

Photographer’s Note

A view of the Pacific Ocean from Lower Diamond Head near Waikiki Beach, which is about 1-2 km over to the right. I liked the patterns formed by the coral reef in the water, & of course, that marvellous turquoise colour.

Hello Chris,
The turquoise coloured ocean is glorious to contemplate and is nicely framed by the foreground vegetation. The saturated colours are nevertheless quite natural looking. Excellent sharpness.

Nice view out on the sea from underneath the trees, Chris. A well-balanced ensemble of the colorful natural elements, relaxing and harmonious to look at.
In the photo details, I'm a bit surprised to read "Date Taken: 2008-12-00", seems to be another small bug in the new TE interface.

Hi Chris,

While we're huffing and puffing with temperatures around 30 C (87 F) this photo looks refreshing and I feel like taking a dive in that water. Beautiful natural frame and I love the different colours of the water. Great work!

Hi Chris,

The capture of the power of the sea and seeing the coral through the transparent water are assets to the composition. The trees are framing well the sea. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the hawaiian scenery. Have a nice day.
