Waipio Valley
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| A view of Waipio Valley on the Big Island, Hawaii. Waipio was once the home of the rulers of the Hawaiian islands. The southern-most of 7 valleys, the overlook this photo was taken from is easily reached via road. Descending into the valley for the black-sand beach is a steep (25% grade!) hike. You can also take a 4-wheel drive down into the valley. The road drops 1,000 vertical feet in the one mile descent, so be prepared with either a ride out or plenty of water and comfortable shoes! |

Hi Curtis,
This is a sharp picture, for sure!
And great colors too.
I'm wondering what it would look like, without the trees in the foreground, at least the ones on the right side.
Showing more of the ocean would add something to the picture, to my opinion.
TFS,
François
