Photographer’s Note
"For 'tis green, green, where the ruined towers are gray, And it's green, green, all the happy night and day; Green of leaf and green of sod, green of ivy on the wall, And the blessed Irish shamrock with the fairest green of all." -- Mary Elizabeth Blake
My mother's father was from Irish immigrants who made it to the opportunites of the Oklahoma Territory at the turn of the 20th century. He was very special in many ways, especially to me and he was born on Saint Patrick's Day. I almost made it by being born on March 18th.
This image is of the pathway to Akaka Falls through a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. (And a bonus for me with my 100th photo posting.)

Hello Ray,
Happy 100th. You are correct 100% with this image showing almost nothing but: GREEN. Looks like an enjoyable trsail to take with all the shapes and textures. Happy St. Pat's Day when it arrives.

Hi Ray,
Well, then... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
And congrats on your 100th - it makes me realize how time flies.
Nice shot here, more than fitting for St. Patrick's Day. A very clever idea to post something green. Good composition, too, with the trail leading into the center of the shot. Those different shades of green are very fascinating. Looks like a place I'd love to see some day.
Best wishes,
Claudia
PS: How are your plans for your visit to Germany coming along?

Hello Ray,
What a exotic place, exactly a place in exotic garden.
The quiet path care for an excellent composition.
Splendid presentation and lovely green colours.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.
