[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have never encountered so quickly changing weather conditions such as the ones in Hawaii. Here we are at the blackened regions of the Big Island in the Hawaiian archipelago, where the predominant colors are black, gray and white. The colors of ash and lava. Trees may turn gray when the lava decides to advance on their trail, and pictures of devastated nature are common in the Big Island. Here is such a tree, against a dark hill, on a tormented cloudy day.

Merhaba Izzet.

A dramatic view! Nice composition with the tree as an introduction.

Well done!

Rgs, Oscar

This is a lovely picture of natural art. I used to find trees without leaves plain and ugly. Now, (maybe because I am now older) I find them graceful in their simplicity. This is a nice juxtaposition of white on black. The cloud formations finished the feeling. Your POV is nice, although I probably would have cropped the bit of the next tree from the shot.

Very nice picture.
I like the balance with the mountain in the back. Almost seems like the tree has followed the shape of the mountain over the years, the shape of the first rays of sunlight in the morning...

Hello Izzet Bey,
So interesting the leafless tree, the black hills and the grey clouds. The pov, the composition as well as the colors, are superb. The use of light the eye is different in every photo you share with us. Best personal regards. Salvator.

Bu fotoğrafınızı çok kez gördüm ve sizi bana tanıtan fotoğraflarınızdan biri. Ellerinize sağlık.
Is one the best picture you've made. The light on the tree against dark mountain give a superb sense of contrast that makes the picture the stunning one. Best regards. ihsan

Anlık değişimi şahane değerlendirmişsiniz, ışık da üstadını biliyor..
Saygılar..

Merhaba Izzet.

You're right. Dramatic tree. And is this composition what enhances this dramatism.

Well done.

Yes, it has a dramatic feel, Izzet. Compositionally it is rather simple, but the eerie lighting causes the barren tree silhouette to make an effectful appearance in front of the hills. Nice and moody, with an artistic touch.

Hello, Izzet--
Great piece, you used the lighting to great effect, and the way the shape of the tree is echoed in the silhouette of the mountain is great. My only criticisms are that the branches creeping in from the left are a little bit distracting and it sees a little noisy... oversharpened, maybe.
Thanks!
sam

Merhaba İzzet Bey,bir sorum var ltf.Bu fotoğrafları çekmeden önce görüyormusunuz lütfen?Mükemmel olmuş.Elinize sağlık.

I like this one a lot as well Izzet, but like SamB I have a small problem with the branches on the left of the other tree entering the frame. Also the nosie is a little too much for my liking in the clouds.....and theres the over sharpening la la la, but the silhouetted mountains are very nice!

Nice shot!

I love the tree, it seems to be apart from the photo

I love it!
