Stan,
that is really vry cute of you to let us know that you're still around but to busy to participate of the virtual life at TE. At least drop an image once a month with some lines and we will be all glad.
The little lady with her most colorful kimono is worth not only one shot but certainly a full 35mm film with 36 exposures. Ooops, sorry, weren't anymore in this age, but in the digital age of RAW. I love the shot and have only the minor feeling that a different background color would be suiting better.

Hi Stan,
What wonderfully brilliant clear color here with your usual excellent sharpness.
The big peepers on this shy young lady win the day today as they catch a lovely bit of gleaming light.
I'm sure Barbara enjoyed the ball game. When your back I got a specail one to deticate to your wife.
Regards, Tom

Hi Stan,
Hey man, been a long time since we saw you, glad to see you back.
What a beautiful girl in a beautiful pose. She looks shy, insecure, not reaaly happy with things that are going on, but all these things toghether end up in a very good prtret. The way she helds her fingers, the body a bit twisted, it all works very good. The soft colours of her dress are beautiful...very good work.
Have a nice day, Henk

Hello Stan,
Nice to have some news from you. I will wait to see your next posts.
I appreciated your note about the difficulty to balance the ambient light and the flash. Sometimes ago, I did a little work for a friend designing clothes and I measured all the difficulties of this kind of shots.
See you next,
Yves.

Hello again Stranger. Good to "see" you albeit fleetingly. The portrait of the little girl is wonderful. I love the shyness you have captured; her pose, her expression and the twiddling of the fingers all add to her charm. If anyone can manage the lighting you can, and you did it beautifully. Hope it's not too long before we see more from you.
Do you have your dates for England yet? We're wondering if there's any way we can cross paths either here or in Denver.

Hi Stan,
She is a charmer; the detail and framing is outstanding; thos big eyes and those little hands speak volumes. I love the unselfconsious grace of children under five. Glad you are having a good time. It will be good to have your mother near-by.

Hello Denver :) This was a nice treat starting my Monday morning, still a little tired as most Mondays begin at work, when I saw not only a new picture from you but also your little side note, and I will always remember not only that I became a nurse over night but you guys being fully into the game and that the little Swiss crew set there not really knowing what was going on but enjoying the whole situation we were in with the singing, the eating, the size of the stadium, the beautiful Denver sunset, the train ride back to the hotel, and finally the huge breakfast we had the morning after, and I will certainly never forget you in the car driving by to work, with the Bronco sign on one side of the car and the opera thing on the other. There he goes, I thought, and we lost you in the traffic. I truly hope that we can give something back one day but first enjoy England, the hippie wedding, the old aunt, and the weather.
She is so sweet, your little blossom, not really sure how she should pose for you, and she is just like me sometimes when I do not know what to do with my hands :) Have a good Monday, you too. Barbara.

Hi Butch,
good to have you back with another vintage portrait of yours!
Take your time and enjoy yourself, buddy. We'll be here this Autumn, so... we'll see each other at some point for damn sure.
I'll email you privately before heading for The Outlaw Trail on August, 3. The posse seems to lay kinda low lately, but I keep an eye out at all times as I DON'T trust them, he he!
Well... nothing we can't handle!
Have a wonderful day, I'll see ya soon.
Ciao,
Sundance.

hey, Stan!
good to hear from you, I hope you'll manage to free some time to prepare more posts.
the expression here is priceless - shy and curious at the same time, and I like a lot the knotting fingers. the light on the cloth makes it shine nicely, just like the silk should. very nice :)
take care,
Kristine
