[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot from my trip to the Sand Dunes in Colorado. Taken around 7.30am when the sun was rising up. Background is the mountains which serves the Medano Creek. These creeks are assumed vital to the creation of the Sand Dunes.

Critiques [Translate]

The foreground is a little grainy, but it is a great shot none the less...Especially the contrast of the Sahara-like desert sand and the faraway snowy peak is very nice and memorable. Nice work. Thanks and greetings

What I really like about this photo besides the great lighting that shows off the ripples in the sand is the inclusion of the mountains in the background. They really make the photo interesting by contrasting with these sand dunes. Very nicely composed.

Dramatic. What a contrast between dunes and snow covered mountains. I think the composition would be a little better with a fraction less dune at the bottom and a bit more sky at the top, giving a balanced 1/3,1/3,1/3 composition top to bottom.

Hello Jim,
Outstanding landscape. The rising sun and its low light conditions are enhancing nicly the relief on the sand.
Nice composition ending up on these nice snowy peaks contrasting well with the foreground.
