Photographer’s Note

The deep blue sky is because of both the high altitude, & the polarizing filter. Denver is known as the Mile High City (5280 feet above sea level). I've also noticed this phenomenon in Nepal, & Dali in China. I liked the warm cold colour contrast & perspective here. Taken on my way to find a hospital. I spent 6 hours in Denver, trying to fill a simple script, for non life threatening medicine that I can get in Asia or Australia in 10-15 minutes for a top fee of $7. When I finally got what I wanted, it was $200. Obama is doing the right thing, attempting to restructure the US Health Care System, imho.

The trees are framing well the buildings. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the buildings, it is also giving perspective to the composition. The quality of the light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

The blue coloured sky is simply amazing, but the architecture is also interesting. There's some good shadows as well.

I think in these high prices of medical services are embedded the professional indemnity insurance, because much of them is processed by malpractice. Very good composition, nice architecture. Great contrast of colors, excellent light and good perspective.

The fantastic golden tones of this intricate stone work is wonderfully complimented by the vivid blue polarized sky.
The light is perfect laying tranquil shadows from the golden autumn trees.

This do my thinking to European old buildings, this is a lovely style of construction.
Good perspective, maybe is the blue colour filter little bit strong.

Very beautiful architecture of this house and a big contrast with the sky. The light and details are magnificent.
Regarding your comment about public health in USA, I hope this president will bring a country like this, healthcare is free for everyone. In Spain, despite the economic and cultural backwardness that led to the Franco dictatorship, we all have right to medical care free.

The point of view close to the wall gives a different capture of street architecture!
The fine stone houses are blessed with the finest light, and the blue sky is a great backdrop...

Something new I learnt today about your medicine episode in US, after reading your note. Fine contrast between the colour of the building and the deep blue sky. Like the perspective created by the building and also the diagonal shadow of the small tree
