Photographer’s Note
Las Vegas Street in Colorado Springs. I liked the warm cold color contrast here, between the blue sky & Fall colours of the big old tree at right. Also unusual were the suspended traffic lights. They're mounted on fixed metal poles, in most other countries.

Hello Chris,
A good point of view on the crossroads making good use of the traffic lights as graphical elements in the image. The splendid tree makes a nice anchor point on the right before the eyes are directed up the street towards the mountains in the background. Very good light and colours; great clarity.

Namaste Chris, a very good take of the old tree and the blue sky. The streetlights are suspended in wear, it is really unusual. Sharp shot. The tree and the white clouds behind it contrasts well. Light management is excellent. Tfs.

Hi Chris,
the diagonal line of the street is an aaset to the composition. The big old tree is framing well the street. The point of view leads our eyes toward the nmountains which is giving depth to the photo. The sky patched with clouds is sending a light that is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Amazing to see leaves still on the trees in November as autumn comes early in Colorado.
The yellow leaves make a striking contrast against the blue of the sky. The diagonal of the road leads us nicely through the frame. Yes I think the US is the only place I have seen traffic lights like these. Did you experience the crossroads they have without lights, where everyone politely waits their turn? There would be constant carnage on the roads over here with that system

Bonjour Chris
En effet un bel arbre avec ses couleurs d'automne pour une bonne harmonie avec ce bleu ciel.Une petite sous-exposition aurait permis de moins bruler les nuages blancs.
Bonne journée

Hi Chris,
This looks like a lovely moody picture of a quiet Sunday afternoon, but on the “date taken”: 2008-11-00 I couldn’t find out if it was a Sunday afternoon in real : -)

Bonsoir, cher Chris,

Regards.
Daniel.

I like the colour combination in this shot. The yellow of the tree leaves against the blue of the sky is excellent.
For the suspended lights, oh well, thatá America!!!

Hello Chris,
The autumn foliage stands well against the blue sky!
And soon we're there again; nice peaceful street scene, not in the most busy part of the city...
A balanced composition with pin sharp details!

Hi Chris!
You were perfectly right when you decided to take a picture of that big old tree! Wow, and it's in Colorado Springs (Will I see it again? Well, now I have my new passport and american visa in hand!!!)!
Off-centered, still stands out, magnificent, even more than the rockies in the very background. The modern elements do not disturb it, instead, they're there in a very nice composition to tell us that nature will remain!!!
Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors are all excellent! The composition, as I pointed out above, is the real highlight, together with the well chosen pov!
Thanks for taking me to Colorado Springs for a couple of minutes!
Best regards,
Neyvan
